Puslovsky’s palace and folwark of Tadeusz Kościuszko

This is Belarusian palace of the 19th century is situated in the Belarusian town of Kossovo. Architects F.Yaschold and V.Marconi participated In the construction of the palace and park. The palace has a well-developed composition of classicism and neo-gothic style, have fortress towers and turrets in the spirit of Gothic antiquity, it is romantic for the architecture in the middle of the XIX. It was built 1838. Now there is restoration work, the palace is closed to visitors.

Andrzej Tadeusz Bonawentura Kościuszko was born in February 1746 in the village of Mereczowszczyzna, a folwark near the town of Kossovo, and near Palace Puslovskys.

Tadeusz Kościuszko is political and military figure of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth (Rzeczpospolita), leader of the rebellion in 1794. National hero of Belarus, Poland and the USA, honorary citizen of France.
